Hello! We're Charles (Chuck) & Jamie Cunningham, owners of C & J Moving, Inc.  Welcome and Thank you for visiting our website! We started C & J Moving in 1998 with much experience behind us.  I (Chuck) grew up in San Francisco, CA and learned the ropes working in my family's moving & storage business, Cunningham Moving & Storage, Inc.  If you ever want a workout that rivals many of the crazy workouts now being sold on television, simply become a mover in San Francisco, CA!  Check back with me after one week and see if you still like staircases!  After a break from the family business in the mid 90's, I moved to the Sacramento area after marrying my lovely wife Jamie, who is from Sacramento. We decided to venture out on our own as a mover when we saw the Sacramento region start to grow. We have three children (boys), none of which is a mover currently because the youngest is in first grade and the older twins are in high school. They must first graduate before they can prove themselves on a professional moving van!  Jamie doesn't move furniture either, and I don't blame her! She handles the office work.

As a professional mover, customer care, protecting your goods and satisfaction is our primary goal. We make it our top priority to deliver efficient, careful moving at an exceptional value. When possible, following an onsite written/visual estimate, a move is planned and coordinated according to each individual's needs and is often overseen to completion by me (Chuck). We do household & office moving,  and we also provide movers to load or unload a rental truck you may be using for your relocation. Or, you may simply need help onsite in your home or office moving items around, in which case we are happy to provide movers onsite.

Our company has a small fleet of clean, fully-equipped moving vans, trained, and courteous personnel, and a reputation for quality in our industry. We can be trusted to handle your move quickly, efficiently, safely, and of course economically. We are licensed and insured for your peace of mind.
